Our story
Insight PV is a spinout from the UNSW ACDC Research Group, built on years of research into photovoltaic systems, data analytics, and AI-driven modelling. Our learnt digital twin technology was developed within one of the world's leading solar research institutes, with core research supported by ARENA, and has been validated across 350+ MW of Australian utility-scale PV assets.
We founded Insight PV to close the gap between the wealth of operational data that solar farms already generate and the actionable insight that asset owners actually need. By combining deep PV engineering expertise with modern machine learning, we help O&M teams move from reactive to proactive — catching underperformance early, targeting interventions where they matter, and recovering revenue that would otherwise be lost.
